    My pleasure, and thanks! :)

BTW- Now that you’re on WordPress.com, do you want to join the alliance?

Right now it’s 2:24 AM here and I have a hard time thinking straight and understanding how the whole thing works, so I’ll have to figure out how to set it up later. I don’t often write political posts here, so I’m not sure if I’m suitable to be part of the club, but if that’s not a problem, then sure, why not?
Will update you when I’m done, right now I’ll just crash in. Thanks for the offer!

Well, you seem to enjoy a debate, and to my knowledge we don’t have a Muslim in the alliance.

Alright, I set up a new page up there that allow pings. You can’t miss it. I also copied your links phrase and occupied the free “s” in WordPress (Matches with Sphinx ;) ).

Just one question, do I have to periodically check your links to see whether it was updated? Or how do I know?

Anyway I certainly won’t be the most active member around. I’ll be reading a few things, maybe leave a comment here and there, and actually post something in the infrequent case of me feeling like it. So please bear with me :)

Hey! I’m the decider on who gets which letter! LOL Just kidding. Nice Job. You’re officially the “s”.

As for the updates…since I keep the “official” link cluster in my sidebar, yes, you may want to check it for an update before you use it in a post. My suggestion would be to leave a comment introducing yourself in the alliance thread as well. I use that thread to announce the latest goings on, and once you leave a comment there you’ll be able to easily track updates through the slick “my comments” feature on the WP dashboard (as does any other WP.com blogger who has left a comment in that thread, so in a way you are announcing your arrival to them in that way, make sense?).

Incidentally, “my comments” is the key reason why the alliance is for WP.com members only, as it keeps you appraised of the latest reactions to your comments and others in the WP.com community. It is a way to carry on debates and interact on these threads for weeks or months without having to remember which thread or when.

I’m going to hide this comment here. I was originally moved to post a comment on the whole MAS/Sutter thread but I can’t stand either one of them so. I will say it’s too bad saner folks or at least people with lesser egos couldn’t get together and talk on the subject.
Wish you all the best with your studies.

Thanks for passing by Alfie, you’re welcome to post your opinion at any time though. Was a bit surprised by the resonance on that thread..

But hey, the more the merrier, right? :)
